This philosophy has guided us through many successful years of personalizing books. I learned to read my name from the personalized Easter letters ordered by my Grandmother and sent to me in the mail. For my niece and nephew (now a teenager and a young adult) and now for our son, reading from personalized books continues to be a family tradition that has brought excitement, happiness and education into our homes. Today's technology allows your child to become the star of the story. From the moment your child opens one their book; the magical adventure begins. Each story focuses on two important themes; instilling in your child the desire to read and increasing self-esteem.

Ordering Information

Christmas Saving: 10% discount on all personalized books through December 21st.  All discounted orders will be shipped by regular mail unless a faster shipping method is selected.

 

Orders are shipped 3 times per week; Monday, Thursday and Saturday. Once your order is received it will be processed and shipped according to your order and shipping specifications. Hand delivered orders can be paid with cash or check. If your book selection is not available we will contact you by email then phone. Please include your correct email address, day and evening phone numbers in your profile. We will add new selections and host specials continually, [bookmark] our site and check back at least once per month.

Return policy

Personalized books and letters can be returned for replacement only for mistakes made by Hey! It’s About Me!, within 30 days of the shipment. Mistakes made by Hey! It’s About Me! will be corrected and shipped at Hey! It’s About Me! expense. Mistakes made by a customer will be corrected at a fee of $5.00 per book, unless the product has already been returned and corrected because of a Hey! It’s About Me! error then the fee will be $2.00. Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable. All returns must be accompanied by a packing slip. If you return an item please indicate the reason on packing slip.

Candle Fire Safety

With the holidays fast approaching and the increased usage of seasonal decorations, it is important to focus on candle fire safety and prevention.  Because the majority of candle fires result from human error and negligence, candle fires and their associated casualties are preventable.

• If possible, avoid using lighted candles.
• If you must use candles, ensure that they are placed in sturdy holders.
• Keep candles away from children and pets.
• Be sure to extinguish candles after each use.
• Never leave burning candles unattended.

By following a few candle fire safety tips, everyone can enjoy a safe and happy holiday season.

Causes and Circumstances of Home Candle Fires

• On average, one home candle fire is reported every 34 minutes.
• More than half of all candle fires start when something that could burn, such as furniture, mattresses or bedding, curtains, or decorations is too close to the candle.
• In one-fifth (20%) of candle fires, the candles are unattended or abandoned.
• Almost two-fifths of home candle fires begin in the bedroom.
• Falling asleep is a factor in 12% of home candle fires and 26% of the associated deaths.
• December is the peak time of year for home candle fires.  In December, 13% of home candle fires begin with decorations compared to 4% the rest of the year.
• One-half of home candle fire deaths occur between Midnight and 6 am.
• Young children and older adults have the highest death risk from candle fires.
• The risk of fatal candle fires appears higher when candles are used for light.
